With a little 'delay, upgrade my current "status" phone.
On the occasion of my birthday (well, actually a little 'later), thanks to a "Reward" in-laws left in summer, and an over accomplice to say the least shameful for the valuable Samsung SGH-i780 I decided to take the plunge and go on a full-touch device, the famous Nokia 5800 Xpress Music .
Maybe later I'll do a comparison (or review) the most comprehensive.
For now, after several weeks of use, I feel I can give some general impression about the daily use.
PRO:
- A level touch screen there is no comparison, especially considering that the phone is newer.
- resolution rather high (but not standard) of 640x360, excellent brightness even in direct sunlight.
- camera with flash and autofocus.
- The nib (the few times it is used), despite its "poor man" does his duty better than aluminum in the Samsung. It does not scratch the screen!
- separate power input and USB (but it is also a counter).
- few keys properly disposed.
- Autonomy clearly superior.
- not lose its settings even loaded!
- Ergonomics: There is no way, shape the soap is still the best.
- Micro SD 8 GB in-box!
AGAINST
- Materials decidedly less "noble", but give it a very good robustness to mistreatment.
- The camera, despite flash, autofocus and 3.2mpx is not exceptional. Definitely the best video capture!
- USB inputs, power and headphones are all on the same side: sometimes it seems a patient connected to machines that keep it alive! In my opinion might be used for both the USB data transfer for food ... I find it very useful that the phone can charge and exchange data with a PC simultaneously.
Uhm. Even if not all, for now I would say that enough.
In the next installment: VS Windows Mobile Symbian S60 5th !
Updated:
Here a card (in English, sorry) "less advertising and more technical question on the phone!
